Date: 2010-10-12 07:26 pm (UTC)I've heard, informally, that they're interested in transformative fandom content, but that some parts of FOGCon are uncomfortable with it. So someone was saying it would be good to try and suggest things that are more meta-ish and less like "how to rip DVDs to make vids" or whatever. (Yeah, like anyone actually does panels like that anyway.)

I would also argue that fanfic-centric fandom *is* literary fandom -- what are we doing if not writing and reading?
